Transformers, Star Trek Writer Accused Of Spousal Abuse, The Acolyte Gets More Fan Support - TJCS Newsletter
The story today that has really hit me badly is the one about Roberto Orci. He’s written films like Star Trek and Transformers (both films I like) and I’ve personally had him on panels of mine at Comic-Con and even had dinner with him with some other AMC people. I always liked him (although I’m sure he wouldn’t remember me from a hole in the wall) when I had the chance to interact with him and was always grateful to him for being on my panel. So hearing about these allegations from his wife of abuse is very difficult for me to hear. I deeply hope it’s not true.
